It’s a solid faucet timer

It’s a solid faucet timer. A little bit sensitive with flow rate and pressure drop. Also, the instructions didn’t mention I can’t swap batteries in “auto” mode. I learned it the hard way and found out the internal valve position sensor would go wonky and won’t fully open or close if it lose it’s position; to fix that, i did a hardware reset.

I have multiple orbit hose faucet timers installed around my farm. It is imperative that they work to provide water to my animals. Sometimes one may go down but orbit customer service is quick to replace it and make it right. Simply awesome.

I have found they do better if I cover them with something. The sun is fierce. I do bring them in for the winter and remove the batteries.They save me so much time and work. I have a lot to water.

Have really enjoyed the ease and efficiency of our Orbit drip irrigation timer. Very easy to use. Love the manual or automatic options, the ability to set a pre-programmed schedule (for when we are out of town). *It was essential for us to purchase the High Pressure Valve as an attachment due to high water pressure causing excessive leaking. Orbit Customer Service Team were great and honored a 5 year warranty and immediately sent a replacement and recommended the Valve. Definitely appreciate the warranty and personalized service.

Not planning to use it - not worth the risk

Haven’t used it yet because the product it was replacing (older model still being sold at Lowes) was so poorly designed, that it started leaking within a year, and it’s replacement leaked even more and created water hammer and water pressure vibrations throughout my plumbing system. Therefore your products’ quality has been compromised and I will not risk future costly and plumbing issues by trying this replacement, but will give it away or barter/trade with someone with disclosure of risk.

This is exactly what I needed to maintain my Florida Keys front garden. It is much easier to set up and operate than other timers I have used. When I mo9ved here 7 years ago, there was an Orbit timer in back garden. It is still working.

Highly recommended for occasional plant watering

I have a couple of these timers that I use for temporary watering situations. For example if I'm going to be away from the house for more than that a couple of days I can set some house plants in the back yard with a suitable hose sprinkler and set the timer to a suitable watering schedule. I also like the manual mode to quickly set up a one time watering situation and not having to remember to turn the water off. I highly recommend the model 62056 hose faucet time.

It would be good to make them easier to be able to clean the solenoid that gets plugged with tiny particles.
