Place the cups in the included stands, run each zone for 10–20 minutes, record the water levels, and input the readings into the B-hyve app or wateringschedule.com. The output gives you precipitation rate, distribution uniformity, problem areas, and a month-by-month schedule for every station. It's the fastest way to stop overwatering, fix dry spots, and confirm your system is actually doing its job.

How to Use Catch Cups

Before testing, do a quick visual check of each zone: heads should be standing straight, nozzles clear of debris, and spray reaching head-to-head. Avoid testing in winds above 10 mph.

Place one cup approximately 2 feet from each sprinkler head and one cup halfway between heads — including diagonals. Run the zone for 10 minutes. If most cups read below 25 mL, run an additional 10 minutes and note the total test time. If a neighboring zone's heads overlap the area being tested, run both zones and record separately.

Empty and dry cups between zones to prevent residue buildup. After all zones are tested, input readings into the B-hyve app or wateringschedule.com to generate precipitation rate, uniformity score, and a monthly watering schedule for each station.

Good product, but maybe they could make the numbers a little easier to read. Stakes were strong and withstood being hammered into the ground.

Must have to ensure accuracy of watering schedules. Easy to do, just plan on spending quite a bit of time going through the motions for all your zones.

The cups are very hard to read. Still not sure about gradations, I believe it is better to use small cans

The Best Product out there than Amazon

The cups are great the process to use the data is very complicated and the app to map out the cup placement and use the data for calibration is barely function. The software needs a serious redo.
