I really like the Orbit B-hyve Gen 2 Smart Hose Watering Timer and app. I currently use many timers with two hubs and for my application it has saved me a lot of work. I highly recommend them. If there was anything that I would like to see it is higher flow rate for the timer. I have a couple applications that I needed to use two timers in parallel to have enough flow rete.

One negative ( maybe me not knowing how to fix it ) I wish I would not get so many rain delay notifications. Where I am, they are always wrong

Outstanding customer support. I had a gen 1 time that I bought a while back thinking I could use it some day. It was new in the box, put batteries in it and it worked for one day. Called support to see if there was anything I could do to fix it and the agent that helped me determined that the unit was faulty and sent me a new one under warranty. New one works great.

I had an older model but the battery pack tabs broke (UV damage) and BHyve Orbit replaced it complementary.

The B-hyve faucet timer works great when it’s working. I’ve had to replace 2 in the past 2 to 3 years.

Received thr replacement and working good, hopefully it will work longer than one year!!

This is the 3rd one I've tried, and it seems to be working. The first 2 I bought from Home Depot did not work after their firmware was updated. The 2 I received directly from Orbit already had the firmware updated, and they seem to be working so far.

Does not shut off if in a more horizontal position. I have 2 of these now and they both have the same problem. Unacceptable.

The outdoor timer, version 2, does not connect with the version 1 hub. The outdoor timer, version 1, does not connect with the version 2 hub. How difficult is it to make the different versions connect? Not happy.

Love the WiFi ability to control remotely. Plenty of options for programming.

It’s likely refurbished, but the water valve doesn’t shut completely off. When I noticed it, it was a weekend and was told to call back. I googled and did all that was recommended but it still stays partly on and was drowning a plant. I’ve been away but will call again tomorrow but will likely have to do the fullAI generated bit before I can talk to a human. 🙁🤨

I have been using the older orbit gen 2 timers and want to switch to the new gen 2 timers to record actual water usage. Purchased two of these timers for use with Wi-Fi (blue tooth will not activate water flowmeter). First timer I installed would not connect to Wi-Fi so had to use blue tooth. Today when I connected to B-hyve I got a message that none of my valves were connected, then found that all were connected to Wi-Fi. I iinstalled the second valve to wifi with no problem. Excellent valve, but would be improved by a soft closure function. The water hammer when the valve closes is significant at high flow rates, so I install water hammer reducers at each faucet. Not a valve problem, but the smart watering program needs improvement. There is no setting for vegetables or alternate water distribution methods, such as soaker hoses, and you are limited to 99 drip emitters with no input for emitter flow rate.

Even though I onboarded this with a hub, it never stays connected. If I want to turn it on manually I have to go stand by it and turn it on with bluetooth. Once I program it, it might not be a problem, but right now if I want to control it at all while I'm far away I can't.

I prefer using the wi-fi hub and have ordered one. I was disappointed that the previous one does not work with the version two controllers.

The bluetooth connection is poor. Once connected however it works OK
