Interior materials

The new assembly is the same as the original and is unlikely to last any longer. I'm working on replacing them with iron and brass.

It arrived in good shape and works well

It arrived in good shape and works well. I wish it was a more durable design.

As a youth living in a home on an acre lot, we had a cast iron "Walking Dog" travelling sprinkler that was designed and built to last a long, long time. I expect this is now a valuable collector's item!

So far so good

So far so good. I love this sprinkler when it is working. I never figured out why the first one stopped working. But I'm very happy with the replacement as it is working nicely. I just hope it continues.
