Works great. Would have rather had model #56545 from the standpoint that the valves are built in but since you no longer make it this was a good replacement.

I have Orbit’s confirmation on two orders. Both are warranty yet one arrives and the other does not! No communication nothing! After 30 yrs of owning only Orbit irrigation equipment, a company that doesn’t stand by its products after sending an order confirmation, is no longer of my year 31! Appreciate that they continue to honor the 6yr warranty when their products are unfortunately lasting less than 12 months.

Not completely individually programmable

Great timer, however the ports are not individually programable. The program is for all ports. So while you can have 2 or 3 watering times it is for all ports and not specified ports. So far my only complaint.

I bought the orbit 4 port water timer with a 6 year warranty which was written with a bold letter

I bought the orbit 4 port water timer with a 6 year warranty which was written with a bold letter on the box. Just 3 years into its life it stop working. I called the customer the customer service and with a great surprise they agreed to send me the new one. First time the conversation with its representative they told me they didn’t have the same model but replaced with another model which has 4 valves. I went on their website and followed their instructions with the claim number. But it didn’t go through. I called again and rep did the correction and finally they sent me new one but only with two valves. means only 2 ports I can use other 2 can’t. I wonder why I have to buy two valves separately while they replacing the 4 ports timer. I hope the company will look into this matter and met their warranty guidelines.

I have three more of these timers and they work as expected. The manifold works but one section leaks a little when shut off.

I purchased this to replace the original system that I have used for years

I purchased this to replace the original system that I have used for years. I love it! It makes watering my garden easier and ensures that my plants get consistent water. When I had an issue with the first controller I received, Orbit customer service was fantastic and had me back up and running in no time.

Replaced failed timer

Replaced failed timer. Wish I could buy just the timer since they fail every few years.

I have 4 of these in my yard and they are very reliable

I have 4 of these in my yard and they are very reliable, easy to program and easy to manually water any zone. The batteries last for an entire season and you can change batteries without losing the program. I tried another brand 2 years ago and it was not reliable and did not keep good time and the batteries were difficult to change.

We are hoping this second kit will last more than 3 months.

We are hoping this second watering kit will keep its memory and time. So far so good, but the days have been cooler since we installed this one. We are hoping lasts longer than the intermittent3 months of the previous kit. Warranty support was very good. Packaging for the kit had a bit to be desired, but the kit did survive the undersized box through shipping.

This is the third one we purchased since last April, the first two kits were purchased from Amazon, in both cases the timers quit working, the one that orbit replaced I didn’t bother hooking up since the majority of garden has died complements of two faulty timers that quit working while we were gone on vacation. Sadly I have one we purchased two years ago, works like a dream, another from 10 years ago, still working away
