Great

Needed a quick solution for my watering needs as we start landscaping without in ground or drip irrigation. Love this unit snd used the Orbits sprinkler heads that connect to a hose. Works great and love the app for control.

Easy to set up. Love the ability to operate the sprinkler from my phone!

Didn't honor warranty

I purchased several 4 port water timers and I had 3 go bad. The first warranty claim went without problems but when I tried to warranty the other 2 that went bad they wouldn't honor it without a receipt. I mean I get it but who the heck saves receipts for month thinking the product will go bad. I provided pictures to show they were different timers, showing their, I guess I'd number on each one showing a different number. I was told they would only warranty with a receipt. Needless to say I'm switching brands of water timers to Rain Bird.

Orbit 4 port timer. Good but a little cumbersome

This timer is excellent overall but there are a few issues that need to be improved. 1) the first one I purchased did not work correctly. Testing the ports was ok but that didn’t reveal the problem. At first the ports would open and send full pressure and flow to the sprinkler but after running for a few minutes it was gradually close off flow to a trickle . 2) when I contacted support via chat the conversation took a long time. I had to repeat the same things that I had included in the original message to open the chat and the responses from the chat agent (after chat started ) came very very slowly but in the end the agent replaced the faulty timer so it worked out well. 3) the blue tooth connectivity is pretty good but sometime the app has to be closed and reopened to get it to connect even though I’m standing right next to the timer. 4) programming took a little bit to learn but it’s ok.
