Description

Traditional valve manifolds are constructed with glued PVC or threaded Schedule 80 risers and are very difficult to service. The pre-assembled manifold has special swivel unions which create a secure, watertight seal against each manifold component and the valves. If you ever need to add a valve or replace a valve, the procedure is as simple as unthreading the swivel, sliding it back, and adding or replacing the valve. The process of adding a drip filter and pressure regulator is equally simple. The heavy-duty preassembled valve fittings are compatible with all 3/4-in. and 1-in. valves from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. For a professional-quality manifold installation, mount the preassembled manifold on the valve box base with a standard valve box covering it. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

    Quality Control Issues….

    I have gone through 3 of these already and it is only a matter of time on this one as well. You can visible see hairline cracks in every one that I have received near the ends. I have one crack a year guaranteed and I don’t know what else to do because I setup my whole system to fit this. So now I’m stuck having a sprinkler leak once a year and replacing this part until maybe one day I get a good one. Very unimpressed with this product.

    Unable to match my old orbit manifold

    I thought the only available 3 port manifold might be able to fit into my older 4 port system and then could add a single port to create the 4th. But the new 3 port has different connections that must require adapters. I am hoping to contact orbit support to find a solution
