I think the bull gear needs to be made out of a stronger material. I would have not of had to replace the motor assembly if it was built to last.

Soooo easy to replace and was pleasantly surprised that new screws were included! The sprinkler is running like new again.

Your warranty is the best. I have two Orbits. One had quit traveling and you graciously sent the motor assembly to get it going again. My yard would be a disaster from hot Texas summers without the convenience of these traveling sprinklers.

I would like to say thank you for your time spent helping me with my problem. I initially called to see about a fix and there wasn't one so your representative was able to send a new assembly.

Fine motor, with wheels, identical to the LR Nelson motor that comes without wheels for the same price.
What I would like to see, is the availability to buy parts like we used to be able to with LR Nelson before Bosch and then Fiskars bought them. What fails, and should be available as sets: 1: The worm & worm gear, 2: The final drive gears, 3: The lower housing.

Works like new. Just wish there was a more quality option with metal innards so it would last longer. Cheap plastic gears end up wearing out too fast and then they just "skip" and it eventually becomes a stationary sprinkler. Until you buy another "motor" assembly, that is. Planned obsolescence.

Replaced plastic mechanism that makes sprinkler walk & spin. Design flaw that allows water feed to pop out of body. Metal barbed into plastic doesn’t hold over time. This is the second time replacing in order to keep water feeding sprinkler.

Orbit makes good products. Prices are reasonable. Service is outstanding.

The motor assemblies are not durable. Bought five total traveling tractor sprinklers, three in 2023, and two in 2024. All five have broken/cracked the plastic top nut that joins the gear drive to the T assembly that holds the sprinkler tubes. I used JB weld to extend the life and to prevent breakage, but still they rebreak/crack over time. We live in Wisconsin, so only use them 6 months a year when it is warm, and stored in heated shop. Did find one receipt and called customer service as they have a 6-year warranty. It was simple and the customer service was fantastic...if you save your receipts. I lucked out having one receipt in the original boxes I store them in, so had just two replaced.
Additionally, I had several leak or break the water hose connection when I pulled the hose with it attached. That was my fault at I incorrectly assumed you could pull a 100' water hose as the tractor does when operating. Now I always lift the traveling tractor and gather up the hose behind it or disconnect the hose completely before moving it.
The top T part and the water hose connection need to be made REPLACEABLE and made out of steel - not plastic.

Customer service and warranty were phenomenal, but when the product arrived, the switch was broken in half. Luckily, I saved the old motor and was able to salvage the the motor

Got my sprinkler up and running with just a few screws and swapping the spray wands.
