The product worked as advertised and described. Easy to connect and install applicationl. Easy breezy manual and automated programming.

Replaced the same unit that failed under warranty. Quick hook up and swop in the app. customer service was great under the circumstances.

The b-hyve system worked at my house for many years. My controller died and you sent me a new one. I hooked it up and it did not connect. I called your customer service and they did some testing and told me that I needed to disconnect my 5G internet. #1. I do not have a way to disconnect my 5G as it is just part of my router and #2, I want 5G for my house as it is faster. Since my 5G did not get turned off, your guy said b-hyve will not work. I threw the whole system away. Your product and or customer service is really bad. How do you create a consumer product that requires all 5G signals to be turned off??? How did that get past design review?

The device is working great and meeting my needs.

First unit didn't produce a Bluetooth or WiFi signal. Warranty support sent a second unit. This second unit produces a very weak Bluetooth signal, and will only pair with the smart phone when the phone is 5 feet or so away from the B-hyve device. Bluetooth connections drop if over 20 ft. away. There is no WiFi signal that I can detect by searching for the B-Hyve’s MAC Address on the network.

The B-Hyve app (vers. 3.0.55) cannot find/connect to the B-hyve device when the device is paired with the iPhone. According to Orbit's specs the minimum specified iOS version is iOS 15.1 or later. The iPhone that is paired with the B-Hyve unit and which is running the B-hyve app is operating iOS 16.7.15.

Setup, troubleshooting, talking with B-Hyve Warranty Support, then setting up and troubleshooting the second unit has taken up multiple hours out of a busy schedule. Overall, very disappointing. Would not recommend this product.

I like the simplicity of the Orbit controller. I also like that i get confirmation emails when my sprinkler turns on and off.

Does a nice job replacing my old rainbird controller and has a cell phone app to set up the watering schedule via a WiFi and/or Bluetooth connection. Takes some focused effort to program but well worth the upgrade.

Easy to install, stays connected to Wi-Fi well.But the smart mode just doesn’t work as advertised, I don’t trust it to water my lawn. The manual programs with weather sense active seems to work well so far. Time will tell. I think it’s still a good value for the money.

I’ve had an outstanding experience with the Orbit B-hyve indoor controller—both the product itself and the customer service behind it.

When we determined the unit needed to be replaced, she didn’t hesitate—she provided a direct link along with a code, and within just a couple of days, a brand-new controller was at my doorstep at no charge.

That level of service is rare these days.

Between the smart functionality of the product and the exceptional support behind it, I couldn’t be more impressed. Orbit has earned a customer for life.

Easy to setup, program and install.

This transaction was due to the need to replace an original purchase of the same model that failed near the end of its 2-year warranty period. The Agent from Orbit was patient and thorough in handling the transaction of replacing the unit free of charge, including shipping. The new unit was delivered in about a week. After connection to circuitry and reconfiguring to the B*Hyve app (reloaded fresh from the App Store to address any modifications from the original), the unit has performed well through 3 irrigation cycles.
The sudden failure of the original purchase, which appeared to be the inability to receive power (and the app's inability to locate the device), was curious, given it's recent use within a prior 24 hours. A replacement power plug did not resolve the problem, suggesting the failure was within the unit itself.

Device keeps turning itself off. Customer service can’t seem to help. They sent me another one and it does the same thing.

While My old Orbit device worked perfectly for 4 years it's replacement failed to connect to dame old router

Easy installation and connection, it works great and is easy to program.

Overall, I'm very happy with this device. It was easy to install and setup. Programming the zones in relation to the smart watering feature is also straight forward. I had one issue with the device not connecting to the app after a power outage. Customer service was supportive and ended up sending me a new device free of charge since I had owned the device for less than a year. Overall, I wish I would've purchased one much sooner.
