DESCRIPTION

The PVC-Lock removal and bevel tool kit is specifically engineered for removing ½-, ¾- and 1-in. PVC-Lock fittings from PVC pipe. PVC-Lock is built to withstand operating pressure of 150 PSI and still be releasable should you need to remove a fitting to add or reconfigure a manifold or main or lateral line. Simply insert the steel portion of the removal tool into the fitting, press down on the ergonomic collar with one hand, and twist the pipe out of the fitting with the other hand. The fitting and removal tools are reusable. The bevel tool is designed to apply a chamfer edge to PVC pipe after cutting it, making it easier to fully insert the pipe into the fitting. Simply put the correct size end of the tool on the PVC pipe, rotate until the pipe edge is rounded, remove any debris from the pipe, and insert the pipe into the fitting. The bevel tool is also reusable. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

It worked as expected, found it a little clunsy to push inside the fitting . The metal part could be more sturdy.
