Hose Mender Review

Orbit stands by their warranty - guarantee; however this product is manufactured with sub-par materials. The metal coupling, although “plated” with a brass like color is a sort of soft bi or tri- metals that will rot, corrode and “weld” the coupling to your outdoor water spicket. In the northeastern USA (NeeYork) they will last one season before having to be cut off with a hacksaw or replacing the spicket. As stated, Orbit stood by their product and sent me two replacements. I will use Teflon tape in an attempt to prevent rotting, corrosion and welding to the spicket. I will check the threads of the coupling periodically. Orbit should look into NOT selling this product in the future.
