Frequently asked questions

Some questions and answers are automatically generated.

Is the thumb control easy to operate?

Yes. Many reviewers praise the thumb control for being convenient and easy to use with one hand, allowing you to adjust water flow quickly without walking back to the faucet. Several note it's much easier on the hands compared to squeeze handles.

Does it leak at the connection?

Most reviewers report no leaks or problems. However, a small number mention connection leaks, with one noting the issue even with a properly seated O-ring, and another reporting it leaks when in the off position. Most customers compare it favorably to other brands on this point.

How durable is this wand?

Reviewers report it holds up well over time. One customer reported their previous model lasted 3 years before an O-ring needed replacement, and they successfully repaired and reused it. Multiple reviewers mention it appears well-made and sturdy, though a few compare it less favorably to premium alternatives.

Does it work well with gloved or wet hands?

Yes. Reviewers consistently praise the rubberized, non-slip grip for providing a secure, comfortable hold even with gloved, dirty, or wet hands. Several mention the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and operate.

How many spray patterns does it have?

It offers seven spray patterns: jet, cone, full, shower, center, flat, and mist. Reviewers appreciate the variety of options for different watering tasks.

Is the D-ring handle useful for storage?

Yes. One reviewer noted the D-ring loop is convenient for hanging the wand, and additionally serves as an extra handle when winding the hose.

Does it reach hanging baskets and potted plants?

Yes. The 14-inch extended reach is well-suited for this purpose. One reviewer specifically mentioned it gives good reach for hard-to-access tucked-in plants.

Great item!

I’ve gone through a lot of cheap watering wands over the years, and this Pro Flo 7-Pattern Wand is one of the better ones I’ve used. The thumb control is super convenient and much easier on the hands compared to squeeze handles. It lets you adjust the water flow quickly without having to walk back to the faucet.

Pro flow watering wand

Ive always liked that model.

Love it, but one issue

Love everything about it, but it leaks badly at the connection. Brand new O ring is properly seated and great quality water hose has no problem with other nozzles. Maybe mine is just faulty.

Dunno yet

Purchased as replacement for Melnor wands which sprung leakd in pinholes that appeared in the tube between the head and handle. Haven’t used them yet, but they seem more well made than the Melnor.

Only used it a dozen times so far but it is absolutely the best hose nozzle I've ever owned and I'm 70 and have had a lot of nozzles.

Watering Wands

You customer service was great. As the weather is not yet conducive, the new wands have yet to be used. I will try them, but they are completely different than those that were originally purchased. Those purchased had a chrome type shank and were about 2 to 3 inches longer, making them appear a bit more substantial. They were not as brightly colored and did not have a curved handle as do the ones you forwarded.
