seems to better but it still has trouble communicating and defaults to bluetooth

It is a struggle, and I’m still struggling. I have trouble setting setting zone 2, the simple B-hyve I had worked well, but the 2 zone doesn’t work smoothly, the valve opens clumsily, since my zone 2 is not set up, I’ve been manually watering both zones, using the app on my phone, I have to stand next to the timer, try 4 to 5 times each zoom for the water to come through, worst of all is that the app shows it’s watering wether the water comes through or not.

Also, the automatic valves won’t work when I connect it to a filter/water pressure controller.

Very disappointed.

The Orbit B - hyve Sprinkler Timer system worked right away, and connected with my phone Bluetooth. I was able to programed my system to water my plants nightly.

It is a great product. Easy to use.

There is a definite issue with the product's programming. Once you set up the device, it will work fine. When it fails and you have to perform a reinstall, the programming is locked and will not allow any alterations. As a result, you have a worthless product and have to purchase another. This has happened multiple times. I just had one working that failed. I completely removed all programming and then removed the device. It still locked. The bottom line is, when it works, it is great. Unfortunately, it is not reliable and does not work often. I just purchased another unit at Lowe's because I have to wait on hold for over an hour, plus spend 2 hours with the rep each time, to get the device replaced by Ortho. Then, it takes two weeks to receive the replacement. I have seven devices around my property plus six hubs. It is not an issue of being unable to connect. It is an internal issue with the device programming. Unfortunately, I am already into these devices costing over $600, and with the watering season almost done, I will have to see what happens next year when I remove and store them for the winter. If there are issues, I will go to an Amazon device and try it. This is exhausting, and Ortho should fix their device. I am certain I am not the only one who has every device locked and not allowed to program!

Received this on a warranty exchange. Orbit easily honored the warranty and mailed the new device ahead of receiving the failed unit. New device works great and service was easy. Very satisfied.

I have tried three of these the first two that I bought would not run a program. This one was replaced under warranty and it is working very well.

So far, so good. The app could be more intuitive, but it works.

It’s ok

Easy to program. It's nice to have two faucets. One for programmed watering and another to use as needed. Recommend B*Hyve wireless connection.

Issues connecting to B-hyve hub. The 1-Outlet hose faucet timer connected to the hub and its wifi no problem, the 2-outlet would not connect / find the hub. Finally figured out if went through entire process to the end, were it could not connect / find the hub and wifi, then hit back all the way to the start it was somehow connected, though controlling via wifi is finicky. The 1-outlet works just fine.

The other one died. This one works!
