The battery life is horrible

The battery life is horrible, at least when the pucks are delivered. Only purchase if you desire to replace batteries often.

Connections keep getting dropped from outdoor XR sprinkler controller

Documentation says that sensors can be within 150 feet of the XR Sprinkler controller with G2 hub. I have sensors less than 50 feet (although through 3 ways) that keep getting dropped. I tried sending email to the support address, but it is no longer active. I haven't had the time to try again via the web portal.

If it were not for the hub's inaccurately advertised Bluetooth range, or had the flood sensors used (possibly more expensive) WiFi instead of Bluetooth, I'd be so happy!

I haven't given up, but I'd hate to have to pay for *another* hub to place inside just because the range is not as advertised in my context. And this is with brand new batteries, so I can't expect things to improve!

So, I can't say about the sensors per se. But as a single bundle with the XR controller, as I bought it - this is not working.

But, with another hub configuration, your milage might very. Just know that there are so, so many choices now - many using mesh communications, like SmartThings, that extend so much better around a house if you have enough of the devices dotted around your place.

Really works!

I had just installed them and within 24 hours got an alert that my kitchen sink was leaking. Sure enough it appears it was my garbage disposal and it looked like it had been leaking for awhile since there was already damage to some items under the sink. I didn't even notice the water when I put the sensor down. Gave me piece of mind that these actually work and relieved to find this out before heading on vacation!
