Gen 2 B-hyve Smart Hose Watering Timer Bundle 4-pack w/Hub & Manifold 21207

I really like the Orbit B-hyve Gen 2 Smart Hose Watering Timer and app. I currently use many timers with two hubs and for my application it has saved me a lot of work. I highly recommend them. If there was anything that I would like to see it is higher flow rate for the timer. I have a couple applications that I needed to use two timers in parallel to have enough flow rete.

i appreciate the communication I received regarding shipment of the device. What I have issues with is the fact that the company forces the update on any model of timer. My Gen 1 I purchased updated and failed to repsond with the software. I had the same issue with a Gen2 timer that also failed and the company would replace. If there was an option to update along with a popup that stated Gen 1 timers may not work, I would never have taken the option to update. To be forced to update and then failure is perceived as forcing an obsolescence issue with is against the federal policy. If this is a mistake, I would like a replacement of my other timer. I’ve only had it a week but so far I’m really liking it. Able to schedule days of watering easy enough or have smart watering automatically do it for me. Looks like a keeper!

Devices are good, but sometimes loose connection to the hub or don't respond. Distance between hub and timer - is very short and has trouble through buildings.

WORKS BETTER W WI-FI

Working quite well so far. I was at a loss of how to manual water at first, but I think I've got it figured out.

Very easy to set up as opposed to the first generation. Received the product in a timely fashion and it was up and running within the hour. In fact, both of them are running in the application. Its a great product which I use in the summer months. I love the feature where it receives the daily forecast and accordingly schedules the watering period. And of course, you can control that if needed.

The valve keeps sticking closed. This is the second one and it does the same thing. It might work for 3 or 4 watering programs and quit or it might only work once. I have to take it loose and reset it it to get it to work at all

I'm heavily invested in the Gen 1 timers and disappointed that the Gen 2 doesn't work with them. Will have to stick with the Gen 1 timers as it's too expensive to switch them all over 🤔

Leaks. Difficult to operate. Doesnt connect to the app. its just all around terrible. and once you figure this out you cant return because its used. get something different.

I love my B-hyve. It lets me leave home on trips and know that I can make adjustments to the schedule while I’m away. It’s been a game changer for me.

Everything is working as it should. This is just one timer added to an ecosystem of 8. I have had great success with the B-hyve products and the help and support I have received from Orbit customer service has been outstanding. Thanks for everything.

I was sent 8 units of older hardware than my last 3 orders over the last 3mo months. I’m still awaiting a resolution after contacting customer support 2 times

One negative ( maybe me not knowing how to fix it ) I wish I would not get so many rain delay notifications. Where I am, they are always wrong

Outstanding customer support. I had a gen 1 time that I bought a while back thinking I could use it some day. It was new in the box, put batteries in it and it worked for one day. Called support to see if there was anything I could do to fix it and the agent that helped me determined that the unit was faulty and sent me a new one under warranty. New one works great.

Awesome, easy to install.

I had an older model but the battery pack tabs broke (UV damage) and BHyve Orbit replaced it complementary.

When I received it ,I followed instructions to pair. It failed after several tries even with both units next to each other and the router. Finally gave up and installed them where the previous units had been. Put them in pairing mode and it took almost 1 hour to pair. Just today the timer failed to water in auto and it took 3 tries to turn it back on.

Replacement of a timer that quit working arrived in just a few days, and the techs on the phone were great, walked me through testing it and were patient with this old lady!

I contacted customer service to inquire about flow meter capabilities for my B-hyve XD 4-Outlet Bluetooth Hose Faucet Sprinkler Timer | 24634. It was not clear from the documentation and I was asking for clarification about the capabilities of that product, and/or what I needed to do to get those capabilities. They suggested setting up a camera to tell me if the irrigation was working instead of directing me towards the right product that would. Had to figure it out on my own.
