Shears feels and appears well made with good metal parts. Blade is sharp out of the wrapper. Time will tell on the durability/sharpness of the blade which is another key component in a good product.

I really like how this tool prunes my trees it's sharp and durable.

Actually, I was disappointed with the cutting ability of the pruner, as well as the difficulty in grasping the handles when they need to be fully spread. It was hard to cut through a 3/4 inch branch without turning the sheers around the branch. My previous, smaller Stanley pruners were much more comfortable and effective in cutting through limbs,
