Don’t waste your money….

The hub is approximately 10 ft from the water timer and it still does work remotely so it’s safe to say it is pointless to have. Uninstalled and reinstalled, checked the wifi, new batteries and it will not work remotely. The Blue Tooth will work when standing 5 feet from the device but whats the point of that when you can just use the timer itself. Will be returning both.

With the timer alone, bluetooth capability works within 50ft but the timer can be controlled from anywhere using the hub. No more worry

I now can adjust my water system while I’m on vacation or away from the house. This is so awesome and very reasonable

I have two wireless hubs and still have trouble connecting.

I have two wireless hubs, and I still have trouble connecting to the timers with my phone. It rarely ever connects and ends up trying to search for Bluetooth. I have to try to connect a dozen times before it actually connects.

Low range in a normal home environment. Seems very weak. Not sure why, in a proprietary system, you didn't use a LoRa signal. In its current form, it underperforms and is overpriced.

Orbit B-Hyve Gen 2 WiFi Hub is better than the Rain Bird LNK2 WiFi module

I have both the Orbit B-Hyve Gen 2 WiFi Hub and the Rain Bird LNK2 WiFi module. The Orbit hub is the one I trust.

The Orbit hub connects every time. I can open the app from anywhere and control the system without wondering if it will load. That is what I bought WiFi control for.

The Rain Bird LNK2 is hit or miss. Sometimes it connects. Other times the app will not talk to the controller no matter what I try. Same house, same network, same problem over and over.

The Gen 2 hub is a great addition to my sprinkler setup because it stays connected. If you want remote control you can count on, get the Orbit. It actually works when you need it.

Full control from anywhere

It took a while to find the right spot for the hub since the signal from the timers are going through various obstructions including a cement block foundation. The first couple of spots it worked for a little while then lost the signal to the timers. It was getting frustrating and I was thinking there was something wrong with one or the other component until I came up with the solution. If you find the signal dropping off move the hub closer or elevate it to go through less obstructions if you can, I wound up doing the latter.
