Very versatile and easy to program with my phone. Manual operation up to all four zones from the timer itself or my phone's well.

Love the features on this timer the app for android can be a little more user friendly. With a little research on programming I finally figured it out. This unit is definitely worth the investment you'll be glad you purchased it. I do recommend buying the Wi-Fi Hub so you can remotely control your watering program it keeps track of your local weather and sets rain delays automatically....Best Regards Rob

Orbit B-hyve is a great four port automatic hose controller. Easy to set up and start. Great for auto-drip systems. Customer Service is excellent! I am very pleased with my purchase!

Love it! Solved my problem with watering!

The original unit failed after 3 months of use. Moisture got on the inside of the unit and it died. I will say their support was pretty helpful in getting a replacement unit sent with little friction

Works Great, But Buy the Warranty

I really like the B-hyve XD 4-Outlet Sprinkler Timer. I’ve been using this model for about two years, and when it works, it works very well. It’s easy to program, convenient, and I really like being able to control my watering schedule.

The downside is reliability. During those two years, I’ve had to replace the unit twice because it suddenly stopped working. For that reason, I definitely recommend purchasing the Amazon protection plan/warranty. It has been worth having in my experience.

Overall, I really like the product and how easy it is to use, but I wish it were more durable and lasted longer.

Issues came up after installing the unit. Due to my diagnosis of Stage 4 Lung Cancer two days after installing the unit I'm going to attempt to call you soon using a telephone to see if we can get it working properly.

Love the accessability of the timer and the customization programs. The only issues i have is the threaded connections are plastic and strip very easily if the hose is not on correctly

I am not very impressed with this product. Every time it shuts off waterbacks up through the top of the unit through the antisiphon hose bib. There ends up being water everywhere and the only way to stop it is to turn off the hose bib and remove the unit.

They were able to help me figure out that I needed a replacement and took care of it immediately. Love the service!

Product works great. I had to remove the screen that was attached to the hose washer, It restricted the water pressure, reducing the coverage. My only negative comment.

Not a good product. Sometimes doesn’t run. Never connects to the WiFi hub and always end up having to Bluetooth. Really crappy for the price point. Very unreliable

Has worked reliably for over a year, but when I went to add two more hoses to unused zones, they did not work. To their credit, the company immediately sent me a free replacement device.

This was a warranty order due to my first one breaking after a month. So far so good. Works better than the original one I had. And they stood behind their warranty. So overall happy with it.

Actually, this the third one I’ve had since June. The first one was DOA upon arriving home. Its replacement lasted about 2 months and had the same symptoms. The recent one is a warranty replacement from Orbit. I’m on a “wait and see” basis at the moment.

Great on concept, poor on execution.

It was easy enough to set up and seemes fully featured enough, but after a couple months the connection with the B-hyve Gen2 Wifi Hub has been flaky. Or perhaps the timer is having trouble managing wifi or bluetooth connections. Or perhaps the app is bad. i don't know....whatever it is, I can change the watering schedules manually on the device, but it seems impossible to manage it through the app, either through the wifi bridge or directly via bluetooth to the timer.

Great product! Very easy to setup and use

I bought the B-hyve XD Bluetooth 4-Outlet Hose Timer expecting it to automate my watering. Instead, the zones randomly stop working without warning. Orbit already replaced my original unit under warranty, but the replacement has the same reliability problems.

Orbit’s recommended solution is essentially to unplug or reset it and plug it back in. I have had to do that nearly every day. A watering timer that requires daily supervision and rebooting defeats the entire purpose of owning one. You cannot trust it to water your lawn or plants while you are away—or even overnight without checking it afterward.

This also does not appear to be an isolated experience. Other owners report persistent problems with the app communicating with the device, Bluetooth connectivity, zones or schedules failing to operate correctly, and timers requiring repeated resets. Orbit’s own troubleshooting material includes factory-reset procedures for both the timer and hub, which says a lot about how commonly connectivity and operational problems arise.

The features look great on paper, but reliability is the most important feature of an irrigation timer—and this product has failed twice. Orbit honored the warranty, but replacing a defective timer with another unreliable one does not solve the problem. I would not recommend this product to anyone who needs dependable automatic watering.

They work for a while but then quit. But they act as if they are working but there is no water flow. Using these could be catastrophic if you are out of town and the ap says they are working when they are not. Support is of no help. Mine are under warranty but the best they can do is replace them but the replacements exhibit the same symptoms. Crazy that they cannot figure out what is wrong. I am moving on to a different solution. A very expensive lesson.

Works great, set up was very easy. I also purchased a Gen2 hub. This is my second one. I also have one for my backyard.
