Preguntas frecuentes

Some questions and answers are automatically generated.

How far does this sprinkler actually throw?

Reviewers report throw distances around 80 feet at average water pressure, which aligns with the advertised up-to-90-foot maximum. One reviewer notes that achieving full distance requires strong water pressure.

Can you adjust the spray coverage?

Yes. Multiple reviewers confirm the sprinkler is easily adjustable from partial sections to full 360° coverage. Some note that learning the adjustment mechanics may benefit from watching instructional videos.

Is the brass construction durable long-term?

Many reviewers describe the brass as sturdy and well-made, with one noting ownership and use for three years. One customer explicitly recommends spending extra for the brass version, saying it will last forever.

Does the tripod base stay stable?

Most reviewers report good stability, though one customer experienced repeated tipping. Another mentions the tripod legs can freeze shut in winter conditions, requiring replacement.

Is the sprinkler head prone to getting stuck?

A few reviewers report the sprinkler head occasionally sticking or running without reversing direction. This appears to be an intermittent issue affecting a minority of units.

How easy is it to connect and set up?

Reviewers consistently describe the connection as easy and setup as straightforward. One notes the gooseneck connection makes linking to the hose simple.

What water pressure does this need?

Most customers report good performance at average household water pressure, achieving throw distances of 80+ feet. One reviewer explicitly warns that very strong water pressure is needed for full performance.

How does the spray pattern look?

One reviewer notes the sprinkler breaks up water into a fine mist, creating an even distribution across the coverage area.

Is there an issue with plastic parts?

One reviewer raised concerns about cheap plastic locking mechanisms on the tripod legs, noting they broke after three uses. The same reviewer observed plastic clamps deteriorating over time.

So the packaging of this sprinkler was difficult to work with

So the packaging of this sprinkler was difficult to work with. The vertical lever that has to go back-and-forth between the horizontal ones to direct. The flow of the water was in between the center of the horizontal ones and very difficult to get out. It had to be bent somewhat in order to be freed from the horizontal ones so they could be adjusted. Not a very good way of packaging this.

Good product. May want to consider water pressure needed is slightly higher for full distance but not operation of the sprinkler head.

MY NEW REPLACEMENT WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD. THANKS FOR THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL BUY AGAIN FROM ORBITZ.

Do a little research and get all the benefits from your new impact sprinkler

I did my homework and I’m getting many of the benefits of my new impact sprinkler. I measured how many inches per quarter hour. I tried the sprinkler at different heights, because our lawn is on a hill. I tried different methods of setting up to make sure that enough water got to the edges of the grass. The result is that I don’t have to pull sprinklers from location to location in our yard, and the grass is coming in fine.

Not crazy about this sprinkler

Not crazy about this sprinkler. Expected better performance but requires extremely strong water pressure to work properly.

Thank you for letting us know how this Impact Sprinkler has only worked properly using strong water pressure. This sprinkler is designed to operate within a normal pressure range of 10-80 PSI. Please also ensure that the sprinkler head is clean and free of debris, and that there are no leaks in connections or hoses.
