Welcome to the New Orbit and B-hyve

In the fall of 2019, as we were contemplating our future as a brand, we began to look at ourselves – and you, our customers – a bit differently.

In a world of products, and parts, and pieces, we aspire to provide you with solutions and inspiration and in turn, we knew we’d continue to be inspired by you.

For more than forty years, we’ve been humbled to play a small role in the lives of millions of families around the world and in 2020, we wanted to celebrate you and your family and the beauty you create around you using Orbit and B-hyve products.

This year, we’re going to continue that celebration, and we’re also:

  • Exploring the science of being outside, including cutting-edge research showing that connecting with nature doesn’t just make you feel better. It makes you think better and more creatively.
  • Discovering the power of surrounding yourself with beauty – whether that’s a weekly bouquet of flowers, a patio garden or a neighborhood vegetable patch. In a stressful world, where lots of people are surrounded by cement and speeding cars and ambient noise, it’s important that each of us find our own little patch of green in the world.
  • Celebrating the power of DIY and DIT (doing it together) – everything from growing your own homemade salsa garden to building an underground irrigation system.
  • And last, but certainly not least, we’re introducing many new products, kits and end-to-end solutions that are designed to make it easy for you to surround yourself with beauty.

    I have had the 3 hose timer for several years and have always been very happy. I had not used it since last November. It is getting warmer here on Miami Beach and went to use it again. I changed the batteries and set all 3 hoses with different times. I believe it came on this morning. No, I know it came on this morning as the first hose was on. It should have turned off 30-45 minutes prior. I reset all the settings and when I turned the water on, the 1st hose started spraying water. It should not have done so, as the timer shows Next timer 19 hours, which is what I expected. I hit that reset button and reset all 3 hose timers and had the same result. What I am saying is the 1st hose comes on no matter what I do with the timer. Am I doing anything wrong? By the way, I am pretty sure the new batteries are good. They have been in a drawer here in the house for a year, but have never been used. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. My cell # is 305 322 3542. Thank you

    I love the b-Hyve Smart WiFi Sprinkler Timer and associated cellphone app.
    I purchased and did the basic install of the device (wiring, etc) with the instructions included. I went online and downloaded the complete instructions, but those were for the device and didn’t include for the cellphone app setup.
    I called Orbit and the tech support, Tyrone, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, polite and understanding. As he answered my questions I was able to set the system up completely within the phone app and understand using the app worked and its features.
    The system is easy to use and allows me the flexibility to operate the program and zones manually, especially in Florida with our sometimes unusual weather changes and restrictions. I’m able operate the system from my cellphone from my chair, or from anywhere in the country.
    I highly recommend the b-Hyve system and the associated phone app. I also feel that Orbit’s support tech, Tyrone, is an asset to that company and very customer orientated. Thank you Tyrone for your patience and help.
