About Us Factory Code of Conduct Conflict Minerals Policy

Orbit supports the humanitarian purposes behind Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which deals with “conflict minerals.”  Conflict minerals, as defined by the Act, are tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold that originate from conflict sources.  We do everything we  can to avoid the use of conflict minerals.
Orbit does not allow minerals from conflict sources  - meaning  originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding  countries –to be used in the manufacturing of Orbit products.
 
Orbit does not knowingly allow conflict minerals from “Conflict Sources”—meaning originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries—to be used in the manufacture of Orbit products.
 
Orbit works it’s factories to ensure any minerals used do not originate from conflict sources.
 
Orbit works with its factories and suppliers to ensure that any conflict minerals used do not originate from Conflict Sources.
