Orbit supports the humanitarian purposes behind Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which deals with “conflict minerals.” Conflict minerals, as defined by the Act, are tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold that originate from conflict sources. We do everything we can to avoid the use of conflict minerals. Orbit does not allow minerals from conflict sources - meaning originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries –to be used in the manufacturing of Orbit products.
