North Salt Lake City, Utah - March 24, 2003 – Orbit® Irrigation Products, Inc., one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of irrigation products for the residential and commercial markets announced today that they will have the new Pre-Assembled Jar-Top Valve Manifold with Snap-Wire Connection System™ available for customers this spring.  The easy-to-install Snap-Wire System™ is ideal for both retail and commercial customers.

"There is nothing like our patent pending Snap-Wire System™ on the market today,” said K.C. Ericksen, Orbit CEO.  “This new, revolutionary ready-to-use product allows our customers to easily install a sprinkler system.   The Snap-Wire System™ features solenoid jacks, similar to a RC stereo plug.  This will eliminate the complex valve wiring.  It will be a time-saving product for all customers.”

To address the explosive growth in the do-it-yourself market and to meet the needs of commercial users, Orbit designed the Snap-Wire System™ to eliminating complex wiring, wire nuts and grease caps when installing an underground sprinkler system.  The Snap-Wire System™ comes with a watertight, plug-in electrical junction box.  This innovative plug-in system ensures reliability and is highly consumer friendly.

The Snap-Wire System™ will be available this spring across the country.  Accessories to support the new product will also be available this spring.
