Winter Testing GroundDecember 10, 2013
The other day, we had a big snow storm here at Orbit. Based in northern Utah, we get them quite often, so it wasn’t the end of the world, but it certainly does affect the commute. Luckily, it gave a us a chance to test out Orbit’s new line of snow shovels.
You’re thinking what’s so special about a snow shovel, right? Well, Orbit does have something a bit different to offer. From first look our snow shovels may look like all the others, but the truth is we’ve manufactured the strongest snow shovels on the planet. And it’s not just one size fits all, we have a number of configurations to meet the job. Took these to a nearby home and put them to work. With a few guys, we were able to clear the driveway and sidewalk in a matter of minutes.
The standard shovel is great for scooping and throwing. The pusher, with its wide blade, is great for clearing that snow off in large swoops. We even make a trunk shovel that’s perfect for your car (luckily we didn’t need that one).
And the strength! Yeah, these are strong shovels. When we were developing them we did a little test. Take a look:
