Summer’s Winding Down, But it’s Time to Prepare for Next Year

Now’s the perfect time to plant bulbs for next year.  Tulips (in all their varieties), Hyacinth, Daffodils and Iris’ are all popular species to plant this fall.  And in much of the country we’re just entering the window for perfect planting.

Expert opinion varies, but most suggest you try to plant your bulbs anywhere from 2-6 weeks before the first frost.  Look for evening temperatures of high 40’s to high 50’s.
